E-library with humanistic spirit
The Hsiuping library is a magnificent building situated at the center of the campus. Its name, Sung Yuen
Library, is in honor of the father of school's founder— Yao-ting Lin. When Hsiuping became an institute of
technology in 2000, its library was first-class administrative unit. Apart from the Director's Office, it also
includes Traditional Resources, Electronic Resources, Reader Services, and the Library Committee, which is
responsible for organizing and planning the development of the library.
Our library aims to create a cozy and peaceful atmosphere for reading. Above all, our goal is to improve
the quality of education for the students and faculty of the institute, increase study efficiency, and encourage
self-study and continuing education. We aim to enhance interlibrary cooperation as well. In the future, we
plan to expand the library's space and study rooms to create a more diversified learning milieu.
